Preparing to sell a home can come with a lot of maintenance upgrades. Exterior improvements, new appliances, contemporary furnishings, and of course, fresh wall paint are all items that may need attention prior to listing a property.
Many homes in Philadelphia already have a classic yet alluring exterior. This homeowner in Center City realized that revitalizing the interior wall paint was the best way to help sell. The owner called our team at LaffCo. Painting to help with the task.
First, our team analyzed every room including the bedrooms, hallways, living room, kitchen, and basement. After examining the house from top to bottom and discussing with the owner, we decided neutral tones were the optimal choice for this project.

Each wall was painted a light grey color with Drift of Mist by Sherwin Williams. The light hue brought a calming ambiance throughout the residence.
To finish the job, we improved the wall accents. Specifically, our team polished the doors and baseboard trim. All of the trim and doors were refined with Cashmere Flat and Extra White by Sherwin Williams. The white accents complemented the grey walls nicely, making this interior light, bright, and beautiful!
Getting a home ready to sell is not a typical occurrence for our team. However, we were thrilled to improve the house in a way that pleases the seller and entices future buyers. With a full interior paint makeover, this downtown Philadelphia residence is now “Center City Chic”!
