Brick is popular and timeless, particularly red brick homes. Seeing a house built with this bright rustic exterior can spark various emotions, including a strong sense of nostalgia. However, there comes a time when even the most classic structures need a fresh makeover.
Painted brick houses have been rising in popularity over the years. Painting over the brick adds an alluring, contemporary curb appeal to colonial styles. In early spring, LaffCo. Painting transformed this stunning red brick Bryn Mawr house into a sleek and stylish suburban home.
A white exterior with black accents is a traditional method used to modernize any household. Our team started this project by coating all of the exterior brick with Loxon XP Elastomeric Masonry Paint from Sherwin Williams. The masonry paint provides the building with an extra layer of protection before adding the topcoat. The main exterior was then matched with Benjamin Moore’s Steam, a soft white color.
To finish the project, our team turned our attention to the exterior accents. The trim of the house was painted with Extra White by Benjamin Moore. All of the windows and doors were then covered with Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams.
The blend of white walls with black windows and doors was the perfect way to bring elegance to this charming large family home.
