Dreaming up a color palette for your whole house may seem like a daunting task. But once you’ve got the perfect scheme down, you’re on the right track to creating your personal paradise!
This couple in Elkins Park wanted to create a cool and calming atmosphere throughout their home before moving in. They chose the perfect palette to reflect this using a mix of light and dark blue hues.
They contacted LaffCo. Painting right away, knowing we were the company to call for their home transformation needs! With a project as big as this, it’s natural to have a set budget in mind. Thankfully we offer free painting quotes, so our customers can always be in the know!
We headed over to the gorgeous home, tools in hand and ready to turn every room into a personal haven.
The first room of focus was the hallway. It was painted in Cloud White by Benjamin Moore to brighten the space up further. Because this color is such a customer favorite, we applied it to the sunroom and the attic room. It really enhanced the light coming in through the large windows in all three rooms!
It was now time to focus on the bedrooms. This family-friendly home had four bedrooms, and they were all painted in different shades of blue to enhance different moods.
The guest bedroom near the back stairs was painted in Copen Blue by Sherwin Williams, giving the entire space a coastal vibe. Meanwhile, the small bed nook off the top of the stairs – another perfect sleeping area for guests – was painted in a light aqua.
Similarly, the bedroom near the master bedroom was painted in Constellation by Benjamin Moore. The light sky blue walls contrast perfectly against the wooden floor and white trims. Last but not least, it was time to paint the master bedroom. Giving this beloved room extra character, we painted it in Exhale by Benjamin Moore – the perfect calming color.
For the finishing touch, the dining room walls were given a fresh coat of paint. To make the space stand out, it was painted in Normandy by Benjamin Moore. This darker aqua color really popped against the white trims. In the same fashion, it highlighted the beautiful white chandelier in the middle of the room.
The rooms now follow a cohesive color pattern, which will make decorating a breeze! Not only does the palette create a calming atmosphere, it’ll stay in fashion for years to come.
