House Painting in Fort WashingtonNo matter how big or small the project is, LaffCo. Painting prides itself on its thoroughness and attention to detail.

Take a look at this home in Fort Washington. Much of the exterior was completely worn and beginning to rot. The interior was dull and lifeless, and much of the details that made it such an attractive home had gone untended.

When the homeowner asked LaffCo. to give their house a facelift, we knew it would require more than just a bit of paint. This house needed the full blown LaffCo. Touch to return to its original glory!

After inspecting every surface of the house, we devised a game plan that would give us the cleanest slate possible to work on. This meant that walls needed to be smoothed, trim needed to be caulked and primed, and wooden details on the exterior of the home needed to be sanded.

With all surfaces prepped, it was time to start painting. The exterior of the house was painted in Grecian Ivory by Sherwin Williams. It’s a gorgeous beige hue that adds quite a bit of character to the stucco exterior. The trim stands out nicely with its Extra White paint.

To make the exterior really pop, we painted the shutters in a stunning deep blue shade called Naval by Sherwin Williams. The detached garage was painted in this same color to tie the two structures together.

The interior of the home was painted in Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore with the trim coated in Simply White. This created a similar look to the exterior of the home, and really looked great as you moved from room to room. We love the way the built-ins look with the warm gray walls behind white accents!
