Red is the perfect color to paint a dining room.
This vibrant color is said to spur an appetite, and the right shade of red looks stunning in any modern dining space.
However, there is a right way and a wrong way to paint a room red, and LaffCo. Painting has seen our fair share of botched red paint jobs!
That’s why a Conshohocken homeowner asked us to help paint his dining room right the first time.
The first thing you have to do when painting any surface red, is to prime it.
We used a gray paint to prime the dining room walls. This ensures that the red paint goes on evenly and doesn’t have that blotchy, uneven look that poorly-painted walls have.
Once the gray paint had completely dried, we used a high-quality red paint that wasn’t too bright to finish off the look. Don’t skimp on paint when going red; high-quality red paints are a must!
Take a look at the photos below to see this process in action. We know that many delicious meals will be enjoyed in this gorgeous, newly-painted dining room.
