Every once in a while, a project comes along that seems so overwhelming, you may wonder if it is even possible to complete without working at it for days.
Recently, LaffCo. Painting was asked to help a Horsham family with an extremely large project: painting the entire home from baseboards to ceiling and everything in between.
But as we have proved time and again, no project is too big for us, and we were very excited to get to work making this Horsham home look as good as new!
First, we tackled the ceilings and trim on the main floor. We used Pure White by Sherwin Williams to give each room a crisp, clean edge. We also used this color to paint the kitchen cabinets, as well as the ceilings and trim in the upstairs common spaces and rooms.
Next, it was time to move on to the downstairs walls! We covered the walls in a shade of gray called Sea Haze by Benjamin Moore. We carried this color up the stairwell and onto the second floor. The new, lighter shade really complemented the color scheme of the furniture in the living room!
When it came to the office and bedrooms, we wanted to stick with the neutral-tone theme, while still making the rooms distinguishable from the rest of the house. We went with a slightly darker gray: Desert Twilight by Benjamin Moore.
Last, but certainly not least, we got to work on the doors. We used Divine Wine by Behr to really make the front door stand out, and to visually separate the living room from the foyer and stairway. We think it looks great, and our clients couldn’t have been happier with the outcome!
